  • Director Regional (EU) Operations and Inventory Strategy

    On behalf of our Client – an international medical technology (MedTech) manufacturer – we are looking for an experienced Director Regional (EU) Operations and Inventory Strategy. As a member of the Planning & Logistics leadership team, this person will report to the VP Planning & Logistics.

    The role carries responsibility for safety, quality, delivery and cost performance across:

    • Central Warehouse (CW) operations run by a 3PL partner,
    • Finished Goods Warehouse (FGW) operations run by an in-house team,
    • the operational transport team in the CEE region,
    • the planning and inventory team based in two European countries.

    The position combines operational management with defining the company-wide inventory and replenishment strategy. It carries full budget responsibility for warehousing, transport and staffing costs, as well as for inventory levels in the assigned warehouses.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Planning & inventory: leading the Planning & Inventory team manager (Western Europe), ensuring appropriate inventory and safety stock levels for CW and FGW, and owning DIO (Days of Inventory) for the assigned warehouses, including the annual inventory forecast and follow-up.
    • Distribution operations: managing day-to-day Central Warehouse operations via the 3PL and regional Finished Goods Warehouse operations via the Warehouse Manager; continuously improving warehouse efficiency through AI, automation, layout and racking optimisation.
    • Transport operations: leading the operational transport team in the CEE region, owning transport performance, dashboards and proactive follow-up, and the transport budget in cooperation with the Transport Manager and the Global Transport Director.
    • Finance: creating and managing the annual budget and controlling warehousing (3PL and FGW), transport, staff and other costs for all assigned teams.
    • Projects: supporting the roll-out of new system solutions across the Planning & Logistics network and leading and taking part in global Supply Chain projects.
    • Working closely with S&OP planning, procurement, production and market support to reduce costs and secure a high level of customer experience.
    • Team management: 4 direct reports and more than 20 indirect reports.

    OUR REQUIREMENTS:

    • Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent.
    • At least 5 years of logistics experience in an international environment, including working with or for 3PLs at both strategic and operational level.
    • At least 5 years of experience managing and optimising inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations.
    • Understanding of the complete supply chain, including the customer perspective.
    • Ability to work and interact with all departments throughout a global organisation.
    • Financial acumen and understanding of business drivers.
    • Ability to set direction, priorities and goals and to lead change.
    • Strong leadership and influencing skills.
    • Fluent spoken and written English.

    As the business grows, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to build and lead sales in the HoReCa & Healthcare segment, drawing on their own network of contacts among investors, chain operators and decision-makers.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Actively acquiring new clients and projects in the HoReCa segment (hotels, restaurants, food service chains) and Healthcare (clinics, hospitals, medical centres), as well as selected bank interiors.
    • Building and managing the sales pipeline – from first contact and lead qualification to preparing proposals together with the design team.

  • Senior Business Development Manager – Banking

    As sales in the banking sector continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager. The company delivers enterprise-class solutions to banks and financial institutions, built among others on its own low-code platform.

    This role is for someone who knows banking from the sales side and is comfortable with long, multi-stage processes – from the first meeting, through the business case and negotiations, to the signed contract and further development of the relationship. The person in this role will report to the Sales Director and work closely with the technical and delivery teams on a daily basis.

    WHAT YOU SELL:

    The core of the offer is the company’s proprietary low-code platform for building and developing business applications. Banks use the solutions built on it for, among other things:

    • process and workflow automation,
    • CRM and 360° customer view,
    • credit processes and decision engines,
    • integration with internal systems and external data sources,
    • document and data management,

  • Production Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Planning, organising and supervising the entire production process.
    • Responsibility for delivering daily, weekly and monthly production plans while meeting the required quality, efficiency and cost parameters.
    • Ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards (HACCP, GHP, GMP) as well as veterinary and sanitary regulations specific to the meat industry.
    • Ensuring compliance with health and safety rules, environmental protection and cleanliness and hygiene standards at every stage of the production process.
    • Managing the production team (foremen and production workers): setting goals, organising shift work, motivating, developing skills and appraising performance.
    • Overseeing the correct use and technical condition of meat line machinery and equipment, reporting service needs and working with maintenance.
    • Optimising production processes to increase efficiency, reduce raw material losses and cut costs (lean, continuous improvement, waste elimination).
    • Controlling the use of meat raw materials, additives, spices and auxiliary materials, and analysing production performance (yields, losses, OEE).
    • Working with the quality, technology, logistics, purchasing and sales departments on production planning, launching new products and solving day-to-day quality and technological issues.
    • Overseeing production documentation (production reports, yields, complaints, quality records, veterinary supervision documentation).
    • Taking part in planning and delivering production investments (new lines, upgrades, implementation of new meat processing technologies).
    • Preparing and delivering the production department budget and reporting results (costs, efficiency, quality indicators, absenteeism, turnover).
    • Taking part in internal and external audits (sanitary, veterinary, client and system audits) and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

    Requirements:

    • At least 3–5 years of experience as Production Manager or in a similar role (e.g. Deputy Production Manager, Shift Manager)
      in a meat processing plant or a very similar environment (slaughter, cutting, deboning, production of cured meats and ready meals).
    • Proven experience managing a production team of at least several dozen people, ideally in a shift system.
    • Experience working in an environment with high quality and hygiene requirements (HACCP, BRC/IFS or similar food industry standards).
    • Hands-on experience optimising production processes (reducing raw material losses, increasing efficiency, implementing organisational and technological improvements).
    • Experience working with the meat technology department, veterinary services and sanitary inspection when launching new products and technological changes.

    As the business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, highly hands-on Sales Director.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As Sales Director, you will take full ownership of shaping the publisher’s sales and logistics processes. This includes, among other things:

    • Designing and implementing a presence strategy across all key distribution channels (retail chains such as Empik and Świat Książki, wholesalers, own e-commerce, and e-book/audiobook subscription platforms).
    • Actively leveraging and developing your own established relationships with key business partners and buyers in the market.
    • Creating and enforcing pricing and discount policies that maximise the publisher’s margin.
    • Managing promotional and trade marketing budgets across individual chains.
    • Taking an active part in planning new releases – setting optimal market dates in line with the sales calendar.
    • Working closely with the marketing team to design dedicated sales support for titles, ensuring a high shelf rotation (sell-out) rate.
    • Working closely with the production team on planning reprints and print runs
    • Preparing short- and long-term sales forecasts (volume and value) as the basis for business planning.

    • Continuously and analytically assessing the publishing portfolio – making strategic decisions on what to push hard and which titles/imprints to withdraw from the market as unprofitable.
    • Monitoring competitor activity and market trends and recommending sales actions.
    • Defining, monitoring and delivering sales KPIs for individual distribution channels
    • Continuing and further developing cooperation with alternative sales channels, including Poczta Polska (Polish Post), discount chains, supermarket chains, the convenience channel and partners outside the traditional book trade.
    • Continuously controlling product availability in the market – eliminating out-of-stock situations while avoiding overproduction.
    • Designing and enforcing a returns management strategy – one of the most important foundations of the publisher’s profitability.
    • Overseeing the correct calculation and settlement of author and licence royalties (domestic and foreign) in cooperation with accounting.
    • Managing, motivating and developing the sales team

    OUR REQUIREMENTS

    We are looking for a manager with strong analytical skills who combines in-depth knowledge of the publishing industry with a hard-nosed approach to numbers.

    • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role (Sales Director, Sales Manager, Head of Sales or Senior KAM) in the publishing industry (commercial fiction and non-fiction).
    • Established business relationships with key decision-makers at wholesalers (Azymut, Platon, Dressler, etc.) and retail chains (Empik, Świat Książki), Poczta Polska, discount chains (Biedronka, Lidl, etc.) and supermarkets.
    • Outstanding skills in sales forecasting, print-run planning and range profitability analysis (title P&L). Proficiency in working with large databases and Excel.
    • A proven track record of controlling and optimising book return rates – the candidate must understand the mechanisms for limiting the risk of excessive returns.
    • Ability to manage multichannel (omnichannel) sales
    • Practical knowledge of royalty settlement rules (including tiered rates, advances and subscription models such as Legimi/Empik Go/Storytel).
    • Experience in leading tough trade negotiations (setting distribution terms, pricing policy and chain discounts), backed by concrete business results.
    • Experience in managing a sales team and developing employees’ competencies.
  • HR Operations & Improvement Specialist
